Acharya Ashish is a young and dynamic social reformer who believes in power of discovering “self”. Acharya Ashish hails from a small village in Uttarakhand. He lost his parents at a very young age & then eventually grew up on his own & completed his post graduation in Sanskrit and Commerce. He then travelled throughout India as a social reformer and has a tremendous ability to connect with the current issues faced by our society and move the masses for the social causes . In his discourses, he reinterpretes writings & teachings of religious traditions, mystics and philosophers from around the world and make them contemporary enough so as to make them our way of life. Moving to Dehradun in 1998 from his small village, he established an aura that attracted increasing numbers of people from all walks of life. His Vishwa Jan Jagriti Mission in Dehradun with branches all over in India offers “Discover yourself” programs derived from the human potential. Acharya’s reforms has already reached a large number of audience and has made news in India and abroad, chiefly because of its simplicity and relevance.

Acharya’s teachings emphasise the importance of meditation, awareness, love, celebration, creativity and humour – qualities that he viewed as being suppressed by adherence to static belief systems, religious tradition and social conditioning. He encourages youth to take responsibility for their own well-being as well as that of the environment around them.

His work which has been published are “Prem ,Prabhu and Satya” and “Do it or Not Do it” and another of his book titled “Atman Manthan” is yet to be published.

He strongly believes in “If you can’t go within , then you go without“ and his message to everyone is “let aware be the blessed ones“.
